Extended Focus Image of carpet fibers is composed of 60 optical sections.

Three detectors were used and the images compiled:

One Image in polarized light and two are Fluorescence images:

1) excited with 488 nm and emission BP 505-545 nm (represented in red)

2)excited with 633 nm and emission LP 650 nm (represented in blue)

The red image can also be seen in stereo using red/green glasses
